Don’t let the tiny package mislead you, however; the Minima DOES have a high-performing, PID controlled, AISI 316L stainless steel, dual boiler system and not a cheap, thermoblock system that other compact machines contain. This allows the machine to produce highly accurate and consistent temperatures during brewing, steaming, and hot water production. The PID-controlled, service boiler is a massive 2.3 liters allowing plenty of steaming capacity. The low-water sensor on the 2.6 liter tank also has the handy feature ACS calls LSP (last shot prevention) which allows the machine to fully finish the shot even when the low-water level is reached. Anyone who’s had a shot cut short by a low-water level can appreciate this feature.
